Can Maxpec answer my phone with AI?
- Yes, as an add-on to Deluxe or Premium. The Maxpec AI receptionist answers as your company, 24/7, in English or Spanish — every call, or only the ones you miss — books the appointment and puts the caller and a summary in your system. It is $99 a month with 300 minutes included, about 150 calls, plus $149 setup once; beyond 300 minutes it is 25 cents a minute. Month to month. You can hear it answer as your company at demo.maxpec.digital before you buy.
What does a Maxpec website cost?
- Three plans, by the size of the site: Starter at $195 a month for a 5-page site, Deluxe at $250 a month for 10 pages, and Premium at $300 a month for 20 pages — each over 24 monthly payments with no down payment and no interest, which is $4,680, $6,000 or $7,200 in total, the price of the site. Hosting, maintenance and unlimited updates are free for the whole term. Every plan includes the custom-coded site, live in 14 days; Maxpec Answers, the system that puts every form and missed call on the owner’s phone within seconds; and support that answers, with an optional open call every Wednesday. After the 24 payments the site is yours.
Why 24 months?
- Because Maxpec does the work up front and lets you pay for it slowly. A custom-coded site with copy written for your trade costs thousands to build; instead of a build fee, that cost is spread across twenty-four payments at no interest, with hosting and updates thrown in. The alternative is the same site at twice the monthly number over twelve months, and nobody asks for that. You are not renting a login: when the payments are done, the site is yours.
What happens if I cancel before the 24 months?
- Two choices. Pay 50% of the remaining balance and the site comes down. Or pay the remaining balance in full and take the site’s files with you. The one exception is the guarantee: if you are not happy in the first thirty days after launch, Maxpec returns the payments you made and the plan ends; the site stays with Maxpec, and your domain and your Google Business Profile stay yours.
What happens after the 24 months?
- Three doors, and nothing renews on its own. Renew for another 24 months on the same plan and get a brand-new design at no additional cost. Go month to month at $150 with everything running — hosting, the system, unlimited updates, support — and leave any month. Or take the files and host the site anywhere.
Is the site really mine?
- Yes. The domain and the Google Business Profile are in your name from day one. The site itself — the code and the pages — is yours once the twenty-four payments are made; if you leave, Maxpec hands it over as a download and a code repository. During the term Maxpec hosts it, which is what makes the money-back guarantee possible.
What counts as an update, and what is unlimited about it?
- Text and photo changes to the pages you have — a new crew photo, a price, a service you stopped offering, a review you want on the front page — as many as you ask for, for the whole term, usually done within two business days. New pages are $150 each. A full redesign is what you get free when you renew for another term.
What do you need from me to start?
- About an hour at kickoff, your logo, access to your Google Business Profile, job photos sent by text as you go — and, for texting your customers, your legal business name exactly as the IRS has it and your EIN. Anything Maxpec does not have by day seven is covered with licensed stock and copy from the call and swapped for yours later; the fourteen days pause only for the things nobody can substitute — access to your domain, your Google profile, your EIN for texting, and your approval of the page.
When do texts to my customers start, and what does the registration need?
- When US carriers approve your business for texting, on the Deluxe and Premium plans. Every business that texts customers from a normal phone number has to be registered first (A2P 10DLC), with its legal name, its EIN and a live website. Maxpec files the registration the day the site goes live for a fixed one-time $97, which covers the filing, the carriers’ monthly campaign fee for the term and any resubmission; approval usually takes one to three weeks — it is the carriers’ clock, not ours. Until then the site alerts you by app and email the moment a lead arrives; it just does not text them yet.
How are calls and texts on the number billed?
- The number on your site is a tracking number that forwards to your own phone — it is not a phone line, your number and your plan do not change, and there are no unlimited minutes. Deluxe includes 500 text segments a month through the system and Premium 1,000, and both include 300 minutes of forwarded calls; most contractors never reach either. If you do, we tell you, and the extra is billed at what the carriers charge us, without markup, on your next invoice. The details are in the Terms.
How fast does a Maxpec website load?
- Every Maxpec website is built to load in 2.5 seconds or less on mobile, measured as Largest Contentful Paint in Google PageSpeed Insights on the day it launches — the standard Google publishes, and it is in your contract. If a site does not come in under it at launch, Maxpec fixes it at no charge. Maxpec’s own site measured between 1.4 and 2.0 seconds on mobile across repeated runs on 26 September 2026.
Do you only work with home service companies?
- In the United States, yes: roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, landscaping, remodeling and cleaning, and the trades next to them. A site for a roofer has to do different things from a site for a dentist — storm season, insurance claims, financing, before-and-after — and Maxpec would rather be very good at one kind of business. The Spanish-language side works with a wider range of local businesses in Mexico.
Does Maxpec run ads?
- Not in the website plans. Google Local Services Ads (LSA) are in the marketing plan, for home service companies doing a million dollars a year or more: $1,500 a month for twelve months — $18,000 over the year — plus a one-time $1,500 setup, with the website, the Google Business Profile, call tracking and a monthly call report included and the ad spend paid to Google on your own card.
